Steps to reproduce
Open Microsoft Excel.
Select more than one cell in Excel and press ctrl-c.
Open a note in Obsidian and press ctrl-v.
Note that you just pasted an image instead of the Excel table.

The table to be pasted as markdown.

Additional information
This seems to be new behavior; I distinctly remember pasting from Excel into Markdown tables in previous versions of Obsidian.
Pasting tables from Microsoft Word, even ones that were previously copied from Excel, correctly formats it as a Markdown table.
