Pasting file with Ctrl-V does not work after upgrading to v0.13.31

Steps to reproduce

Copy a file in a file explorer (with Ctrl+C).

Go to Obsidian and paste the copied file with Ctrl-V.

Expected result

The file is copied to the Vault and a link to it is created in the note.

Actual result

Nothing happens.

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Debug info:

    Installer version: v0.12.5
    Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19044
    Login status: not logged in
    Insider build toggle: off
    Live preview: on
    Legacy editor: off
    Base theme: dark

    Snippets enabled: 0
    Safe mode: on

Additional information

The file pasting operation worked on v0.13.23. After upgrading to v0.13.31, the problem started happening.

Try updating the installer by doing a full download and clean installation:

That’s a requirement for any build of Obsidian from v0.13.30 or above.
