Page preview popups - We love them... but only in the main window?

Hello everyone,

I just discovered the oddest little bug :

When I am hovering over a link in a note in the main obsidian window, everything is fine.
The popup appears, showing me what I want to see.

When I am hovering over a link in a note in another window (when I drag a tab outside the main window to create a separate one), things are less fine.
The popup appears as well, but disappears immediately after.

Is there any way to remedy this ?

I have been trying to solve this for hours now to no avail.

(P.S. The behavior persists in a sandbox vault so I suppose the issue is not on my end; caused by my community plugins etc.)

I use the Hover Editor plugin in conjunction (so I can edit in the pop-up window content) and I’m not seeing this problem. Not about to try now without this plugin or in Sandbox, sorry.

The built in popup preview and editor works fine for me on separate windows
