Overriding range slider type plugin settings

Now, it’s a very simple thing but it’s useful.

Sometimes I want to go over the limits set by slider settings, e.g. the number of items/files in history (done that on iOS for Kayoko, for instance), milliseconds in timeout settings (if you have a large vault) or any kind of threshold kept within limits by the developer.

Simple enough, as I said is to disable the plugin if you are in Obsidian and in the config folder go to plugins and enter the plugin folder and open ‘data.json’ with a text editor and write in the number you like on the given line. Save the json file, enable the plugin again and you’re done.

You can do this on iOS with the Taio or Textastic app and easily on Android as well if you only own a hand-held device.
