Overlapping icons, loss of the settings icon

First, search the help docs and this forum. Maybe your question has been answered! The debugging steps can help, too. Still stuck? Delete this line and proceed.

What I’m trying to do

I was experimenting with the settings of the “style settings” plugin and the “fancy a story” theme, and as a result, the panel overlapped the settings icon. There are no hotkeys, and I don’t know how to get into the settings now to fix this issue.

Things I have tried

I don’t know yet how to solve it.

Does cmd , (macOS) or ctrl , (Windows) not work for opening Settings?

If you let us know your OS, folks can let you know the best way to get into the .obsidian settings folder.

Once there, you can rename the theme folder and/or the file where the Style Settings changes are saved. Either should get you back up and running.
