Outline – Keep a collapsed heading in its collapsed state while editing it, do not expand it automatically

Problem

Currently, when a heading in the Outline (Core Plugin) is in a collapsed state, it automatically expands as soon as you begin editing it.
In my case, while working on the content of a note, this is disruptive.

When I want to edit a heading, I simply want to edit the heading – not have it expand in the Outline. If I want to expand a heading in the Outline, I will do so myself. There is no need for a heading to expand automatically when it is being edited.

Proposed solution

I would like the ability to keep collapsed headings in the Outline in their collapsed state while editing them.

If, for any reason, this behavior proves inconvenient for some users, it could be made optional – with an option to enable or disable it in the Outline settings.
