An option to set what folders to show the new automatic backlinks. Maybe you only want this feature on your daily notes and nothing else. Nice to have a set-and-forget setting to choose from. And if you leave blank it will apply to your entire vault, or something like that. I have some notes/folders I don’t need this feature at all but I don’t want to fiddle with panes and remember not to close etc. And I have some notes/folders I absolutely love this feature

Yeah, it would be great to have that.
Present solution in 0.13.9 is sort of confusing, mysterious.
