Option for the autocompleter to ignore accents

Use case or problem

When I have pages with accented characters in their name or alias, I’d like to be able to insert wiki links to them without having to type the accented characters (ie. switching keyboard layout).

For example, a page called Déjà vu should pop up when I type deja into the autocomplete popup.

Proposed solution

Use I18N transliteration when matching page names / aliases to the autocomplete query.

Current workaround (optional)

Switch keyboard layout when inserting links.

That would be nice to have this option for autocompletion in:

  • tags
  • “Find or create a note…” dialog

My use case is the following. I use Obsidian to learn French; I collect examples and tag them with something like ‘#prépositions-après-les-verbes’. So that when I start typing ‘#pre’, I would like the autocompleter to suggest me not only ‘#prendre’ and ‘#reprendre’, but also ‘#les-prépositions-avec-les-noms-des-pays’, ‘#préférence’, and similar.

Many people use accented characters so I came here to show support for accent normalisation/fuzzy vowel/etc. matching.
