Opening of assets from your computer directly from the file

Use case or problem

I use obsidian already for a long time specifically for my studies, and I recently used another app where I found a very interesting feature that allows you to open pdf files and other types of assets(power points, etc.) directly from the app. Currently in obsidian there is no such function, you can only paste external links, so I think this feature should be something to think about and hopefully integrate.

I am confused. You can do this already

Yes, sorry didn’t realise that you can do that with PDF and other text files and it works quite well, but power point and others presentations types documents doesn’t work internally.

When you click on PowerPoint file it should open the respective app. I don’t get what else do you want.

I didn’t mean that. but I think I figured out how I can do what I wanted
