Open Vault in iCloud from iPad

What I’m trying to do

  • I’ve been using a new iPad for everything except Obsidian, so today I copied my vault into iCloud.
  • I can see in the Files app but when I open Obsidian it tells me I’m either: using a different account (I’m not) or that the vault is not in top level folder in iCloud (it is in Obsidian/myvault).
  • Am using latest version of Obsidian mobile.
  • Am not using sync.

What am I missing?

Do I create a new vault and point it at that location? If so, how?
