It would be fantastic to be able to (e.g. cmd + click) on a node in the global graph to automatically open the local graph with that node as the centre.

I agree with OP. It would be nice to have this āsomething + clickā on local graph too. I often use local graphs to explore my ideas while writing. So it would be nice to have this shortcut.
Plus, if Obsidian can remember the settings between clicks, it would be pleasant to use. For example, if I typed some keywords for filtering or I input some depth settings then I would like these settings to stay in the new local graph.
There could have two click commands : āOpen local graph of the clicked nodeā and āOpen local graph of the clicked node in a new paneā.
