If I’m interpreting correctly
Other option is that the note is not actually opened but peeked i.e. when you run either Focus on last note or Toggle left sidebar while in cursor navigation in files then you are presented with the original note that was open before you peeked notes using cursor navigation. Likewise pressing esc would cancel the peeking.
Please, once again, add this basic keyboard navigation accessibility feature so that we don’t have to add 2+ plugins to gain access to it. also please don’t make us click a note twice just for focus and then starting to navigate with keyboard. just make the up and down arrows work when the files explorer is opened of is clicked any where. so basic.
This sacrifices the feature that you can open a note and start writing to it using one left click. This is useful as well. Currently your cursor is placed at the beginning but you can press ⌘↓ or use Quick Switcher++ symbols navigation to move the cursor using your keyboard. There are also other implications to direct editor focus after left click like being able to search the file using ⌘F. You can use enter and esc in file search to move your cursor.
This will be possible in v1.9.8. No ETAs.
You will need to use ctrl/cmd + arrow up/down to navigate AND open at the same time.
