Open any setting menu (e.g. Hotkeys) by name, using Command Palette

Use case or problem

When I want to get to a particular setting menu (for example, Hotkeys), I want to do so without moving away from my keyboard, as this is much faster and keeps me in flow.

Proposed solution

  1. Keyboard shortcut to open command palette
  2. Type “Hotk”
  3. Press enter

Current workaround (optional)

  1. Cmd+Comma
  2. Find where item in settings menu i want is
  3. Take hand off keyboard
  4. Move mouse to settings tab
  5. Click on settings tab

See also my answer there. Basically Advanced URI community plugin already implements settings navigation. You then have to use another community plugin Shell commands to access URI commands inside Obsidian itself.

Thanks for the response! That is awesome it is possible.

This IMO is a basic feature that any app with a Command Palette should have without having to jump through hoops or type weird syntax.
