Inspired by the Omnisearch plugin, I’ve developed a companion browser extension for both Firefox and Chrome named Omnisearch Companion. It’s designed to use the Omnisearch server to offer browser-wide search beyond what the userscripts cover.

- Settings can be tuned to customize quantity or quality of the results

As a companion extension, this requires the Omnisearch plugin in order to function. Additionally, in Omnisearch settings, the HTTP server must be enabled.
