I installed version 0.15.9 from the official repository but it wasn’t running (it was just a black screen). I like the aesthetics of obsidian way more pre v.1.0.0 (icons and stuff), so is there any other previous version I can still run today?
Alternatively, is any way I can apply the aesthetics of the previous versions through a theme or the official code they used?
I wouldn’t recommend running an old version just due to all the great features and bug fixes of the new versions.
If you’re looking for an ancient obsidian theme, may I recommend Windows 98 theme? /s

I’m sure you could recreate the aesthetic of it, plenty of plugins to make it your own. If you told me a few specific functions you’re looking for I can find some plugins to recommend.
Yes, I already have the win98 theme, but I wanted my interface to look like how it does in the win98 screenshots (which were taken on an older version)
Basically, I want the old icons, the more blocky interface (I think obsidian did not have tabs back then) and the way the vault is vertically shown on the screen

I think if there is a way to fully replace the new icons obsidian uses with the old ones, as well as any css for the vault to look like how it does in the screenshot, that will be enough for me
The Origin theme tries to replicate the old UI.
