Occasional delay when switching tabs with different notes

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open two tabs with different notes
  2. Repeatedly switch between these notes via either:
    a. Clicking on the tabs
    b. Pressing ctrl+tab
    c. Clicking on the notes in the sidebar (this option doesn’t require opening separate tabs)

Expected result

The open note or active tab should switch immediately

Actual result

Occasionally there will be a noticeable delay before switching. In the cases of step 2.a. or 2.c. if the user proceeds to move their mouse they will initiate a drag gesture for the tab or note they are attempting to switch to. For step 2.a. specifically the tab will enter the hover state after the delay and must be clicked again to actually switch.

Out of curiosity, where is your vault on disk?

I have a vault in OneDrive (macOS) and occasionally have this or a delay when deleting notes. My other vaults, not in a sync service folder/location, have no delay.

It’s in my home folder. iCloud drive is disabled and only my Documents folder is synced w/ Google Drive so this wouldn’t apply here.
