Obsidian won't launch in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

What I’m trying to do

Downloaded Obsidian several ways. Every time I try to load it just hangs. Can’t even get to the starting app window. Has anyone got it to work on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS?

Things I have tried

Used the Ubuntu App store, used the App.Image method. It simply won’t load when installed. I even tried launching via terminal with sandbox mode turned off.

I am having this issue on Ubuntu Studio. I’m so surprised and confused, I would have assumed this app would work with Linux, considering the whole aesthetic of it. Guess I’ll have to find an alternative.

What error do you get? It works for me.
