Obsidian Web Clipper does not work correctly in ChatGPT Atlas browser

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open ChatGPT in ChatGPT Atlas browser

  2. Try to use Obsidian Web Clipper on the page

  3. Click clip/save

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y

Expected result Web Clipper should correctly clip the current ChatGPT page.

Actual result

  • An error appears and clipping fails on ChatGPT pages

  • Sometimes Web Clipper clips content from a different browser window instead of the active page

Environment

  • Browser: ChatGPT Atlas

  • Extension: Obsidian Web Clipper

  • OS: macOS (fill your version)

Additional information This issue seems specific to ChatGPT Atlas browser. Clipping works as expected in other browsers.

The incorrect clipping behavior (capturing another window) happens intermittently and makes the feature unreliable.
