I’m not really clear on what you are asking for here.

Hi kathe,
I used a Chromebook as my daily driver for a while. Obsidian has two good options for Chromebooks:
The Android version of Obsidian, available in the Play Store, runs very well on Chromebooks and offers a pretty responsive experience.
The AppImage (arm32) version for Linux worked well too, although its performance wasn’t as good as the Android version for me. You will need at least a little Linux expertise to activate the Linux environment on your Chromebook and run the app.
I don’t think the Obsidian dev team plans to release a web version of Obsidian anytime soon, so in the meantime hopefully one of these options will work for you.
Hope this helps,
Craig
Google ChromeOS; the native operating system for Google’s Chromebook series of computer design (fulfilled by various other organisations, like HP), has provision for hosting applications built using HTML, CSS and JavaScript in the form of “webapps”.
Obsidian uses the Electron framework, I suppose, so it might not be as difficult to produce a native webapp kind of application of Obsidian under it.
The whole system of ChromeOS based environments is just so light and responsive, that they are a joy to use, and if Google comes to its senses to produce a Chromebook design with a built-in 4G/5G modem, it would be a total game-changer (so that users are not tethered to that invisible leash of Wifi Access Points).
