Steps to reproduce
-
On Obsidian on macOS, Create a sandbox vault on Obsidian iCloud folder and populate it with various notes and images. My test vault is 31.4 MB. It has no community plug-in. It uses the default theme and the default set of Core plugins.
-
On iOS Files App, set the Obsidian iCloud folder to “Keep downloaded”
-
On Obsidian iOS, load the sandbox vault. Wait for the indexing to complete.
-
Open one file. Here, we call this file “File A”
-
Copy Obsidian URL of another file. Here, we call this file “File B”
-
Ensure that “File A” is shown in Obsidian.
-
In iOS Notes App, paste the URL of “File B”.
-
Tap on the URL of “File B”. This opens Obsidian app.
-
Obsidian app shows the progress bar page with the messages “Loading Obsidian” → “Loading Plugins” → “Loading Cache”
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y]
Expected result
After the progress bar screen, “File B” should appear (because I tapped on the link of “File B” to Open Obsidian)
Actual result
After the progress bar screen, “File A” appears.
