Obsidian URI Issue

I am trying to create a global shortcut on Windows that will open / switch to a specific page.

The URL for the shortcut is: "obsidian://open?valut=b0k&file=!DAY

If I am using Obsidian and hit the shortcut (I have it mapped to a keyboard shortcut) it works great.

If I am in another program and use the shortcut, it will open the correct file, but it will not bring Obsidian into focus, which is exactly what I want.

What am I missing? Using 1.13.7.

If you pasted the exact url, the problem might be that you have “valut” instead of “vault”. But if it’s working but not focusing Obsidian, maybe there is something else too.

That is a fantastic catch, but it’s a typo (I manually typed that in).

I swear I saw someone post re: the same issue a few weeks ago and that an update fixed it.

But not for me?

Maybe this one? URI "open" vault command does not bring the app in foreground (it works if a note is specified) - #9 by Pch

If you have an old installer, you might need to download to the latest. (And it looks like 1.13.5 is still listed as “Catalyst” but the latest public installer on the website is 1.13.7. So, you should be fine.)
