I’m setting up Obsidian Sync and have run into a potential issue. The set up was fine, but when it goes to sync, I get a ton of error messages stating “unable to download file with illegal name.” I suspect my files (which were downloaded from Craft) have characters in the file names which means they can’t sync on onsidian’s sync service. They were syncing fine with iCloud. Is there any easy way to resolve this?
I also realized that if I just go in and start manually renaming files , it’s going to destroy all my backlinks (I assume anyway). Ugh I want to use Obsidian Sync, but this could end up being a mess.
Really want to use OS but if there’s not an easy fix, this might be a dealbreaker.
