Obsidian Sync storage

Hello,

I am interested in obsidian sync. I am wondering wether it’s possible to choose or not which files to be saved locally on my android mobile? In fact i will have images, sounds and videos in my notes and my memory is limited on my mobile. So I’d prefer my notes are saved directly online and i can choose wich notes or folder of notes to synchronise on my mobile and on my laptop.

You can’t choose individual files, but you can exclude folders and choose whether to sync various file types (most types are excluded by default).

You set the sync settings separately on each device — there’s no central panel to control all of them. Except: if you choose the option to sync plugin settings, all devices with that setting enabled with have the same settings.
