I’ve been using obsidian for just a few years and all has been well until today. When I went to open Obsidian today the app launches to a black screen, I checked the log file and it shows I have the most up to date version. I want to just reinstall the program, but I cannot locate the Vault so I can keep a copy of it to re upload.
Does anyone know how I can locate the Vault folder?

That was the problem, thank you soo much, I was really worried that I had lost like 2 years of documentation.
Even if that wouldn’t have fixed it for you, you could have just navigated to the Obsidian folder on your hard drive. Obsidian does not lock you into their ecosystem, your files are all there in markdown format.
