Steps to reproduce
Create a new tag on Mobile
Go on either Live Preview or Source Mode
Expected result
It should create a tag similar to Desktop
Actual result
It shows a “|” between the hashtag and the text

The “|” does not show up in Light Mode, only in Dark Mode
I don’t see it on Android.
I don’t see it on iPad using any of my themes:
- Minimal
- Default
- AnuPpuccin
- Things
- Night Owl
- Everforest
- Proper Dark
- Dracula for Obsidian
I am on the latest update (1.4.4). Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling obsidian (after taking a backup of your vault) ?
Confirmed on iPadOS (after turning off my “plain tags” snippet), but I had to take a screenshot and zoom in to notice it.
It happens in light mode too but is harder to see there. Even zoomed way in I can’t see it on every tag and it’s faint on this one (it’s more noticeable toward the top).
I found the bug on iOS, I don’t think it’s on Android then
I actually use AnuPpuccin, but for this bug report I used

I tried on Light Mode and zoomed all the way in on my iPhone 11 and didn’t see anything, it seems to only happen in Dark Mode
It’s very hard to see. Try zooming in as far as you can on the screenshot I posted, and look near the top. It’s faint.
I think maybe the # and the word are styled separately and there’s a tiny gap between them.
I only see it with the font cranked way up (24) and with a zoomed in screenshot (default theme, no plugins or snippets).
Yeah, tags in Live Preview are more than meets the eye.
