Obsidian Mobile horrendously slow

Hi there,

is anyone using Obsidian on the iPhone productively? Whatever Vault i have, it is /horrendously slow/.

It typically starts off with a big black box at the top saying that it is indexing the vault. I cannot get rid of it. I could work with my vault already, but that thing is just in the way. And typically, that thing will hang after a short while and do nothing whatsoever.

i already said that the content it works on (iCloud wise) should always be kept local, so as I am opening the vault, all should be there.

The indexing of the files and the files being local are two different things.

The indexing will continue until it finishes. You can tab to dismiss that notification.
Try to run the app in restricted mode, and see if it starts faster.
