Thanks, that is also how I would see myself using Canvas; just afraid of creating another area for ideas that aren’t linked to the rest of my Obsidian. I will start experimenting with Canvas to see how it will fit it between regular notes and my mind maps.

i have the issue when i try to make the mindmap and it said no content found.
i do exactly crtl+ P and find mindmap . so what happen with it?
I totally agree, the Mind Map plugin is amazing and deserves to be a native Obsidian function! But with the arrival of the Canvas plugin, it may change the situation. Canvas seems more flexible and could replace a lot of mind mapping tools. Can’t wait to see how it evolves!
