Hey you all,
this is how Obsidian looks for me:
Sadly this is also what it looks like when I disable all community plugins or change the theme to default.
Does anyone have an idea what is wrong with it?

You could check to make sure that you do not have any default settings to always open notes in a new pane, and that none of your panes are “pinned”. Hopefully you can close them from the triple dots in the upper right of the pane?
Yeah this would happen if you have your notes pinned and open another note.
Or if you long press and “open in new pane”.
If you do want to have several notes open at the same time, use ‘sliding panes’ plugin
