Obsidian fails to launch

Issue Encountered

Obsidian fails to launch after a fresh installation. No window appears, but checking Task Manager shows that Obsidian is consuming a significant amount of CPU resources.

Obsidian Version: 1.6.7
Windows Version: Windows 11 Professional, 24H2, Build 26100.2033

Attempted Solutions

  • Tried restarting and reinstalling, but it didn’t work.
  • Tried testing in safe mode, but it didn’t work either.
  • Downgraded to version 1.6.3, which doesn’t include the latest Electron version, and it worked normally.

Hi, I’m having this issue as well. It happened immediately after updating to Windows 11 24H2. I can’t launch the app, and I cannot run the 1.6.7 installer.

The same here, Windows 11 24h2, Obsidian doesn’t launch.
