Things I have tried
I made a .md file with the standard text editor in linux (mint) with this content “áéíóúñ¿¡” and then copied and pasted the md. file in the obsidian vault and get “������”.
Please help!
I’ve got no problems using accented characters in Obsidian:
It could be an encoding issue with your text editor. Can you type those characters in to Obsidian directly and see them correctly?

It was the encoding in the text editor indeed!
