Hi
when I insert a “-” to create a bullet point Obsidian automatically shows it as a round bullet point. I don’t mind it in lists, but tasks are not rendered because of this.
How can I avoid this behavior?
I have tried different themes. It happens in a newly created vault as well.

anyway, if u typed it correctly i.e. - [ ] it will render as task. because the underlying text is still that. obsidian only visually mask it as bullet. i suspect u didn’t put a space between the square bracket. it should be this [ ] instead of this []
I just tested it again, and now it works both on my Windows machine and my Mac. I have no idea what went wrong, but in the mean time I deactivated and activated quite a few plugins.
