Obsidian can't play mkv files on mobile device

I can play mkv video in Mac Obsidian, but can’t play it in iOS & iPadOS Obsidian:

Is it because of device limitation?

Yes, it depends on what codecs are available on the device. Accepted file formats - Obsidian Help
