Hi, I’m new to Obsidian,my language input is normal outside Obsidian , but I can’t type different language inside Obsidian, I’m using a Ubuntu(Linux) distro by the way.
I’d appreciate any help with this. Thanks!

Want to throw my weight behind this.
Also using Obsidian (installed on snap) on Ubuntu 24.02 LTS
Installed Cangjie3 (Traditional Chinese) and Mozc (Japanese) on ibus
Cannot type in neither of them in Obsidian, only directly typed as English instead. This does not happen in any other app, be it installed on snap or flatpak or deb, only in Obsidian. Please investigate.

Here is the solution input method - Can't write bangla in obsidian - Ask Ubuntu - replace Obsidian snap with the .deb package.
