I have got 1.9.4 version (catalyst). I’m using bases. I see that it’s now possible to have “cards view”, but It doesnt work for me.
I tried restart computer and obsidian but still don’t work.
I work on macOS Monterey 12.7.6
What can I do ?
Are you having issues finding where to do it, or do cards not show up when you’re in a Cards view?
In the top left in your Bases you can Add a view and for layout select Cards, that should change your view to the new Cards layout.

Hi, thank for your answer. I have the same view like you show me. But when I click on layout, I get no option, only “table”.
I wonder if it may be an issue with Bases created before the update, I only created mine after the update to test, can you try to creating a New Bases and seeing if the new view for cards shows up there?
My older .base files created before Obsidian v1.9.3 work fine with the card layout, but you never know.
Someone on Discord had the same issue the other day: clicking on Table under Layout was unresponsive and didn’t show a dropdown. We asked them to try the troubleshooting steps and they didn’t report back, so maybe they sorted it out?

I find where the problem comes from : It’s task genius. When I disable it, all works. I’ve opened an issue.
