Steps to reproduce

with the latest update Obsidian ios no longer works with Lockdown Mode on, step to reproduce:
1- turn on Lockdown Mode
2-open obsidian
3- you’ll get this screen

There have been other reports from people having issues with Obsidian and Lockdown mode in the past …

Maybe you could try this (if you didn’t do that already) :blush::

hi and thank you for reply, yes, this is how I troubleshoote the screen I posted above, unfortunately excluding the app from lockdown mode is not the solution for me.
since yesterday night obsidian worked flawlessly with lockdown mode, today after the update the bug showed up. I did a little more troubleshooting and found that core plugins “file” and/or “file recovery” trigger this…

we haven’t had any reports about iOS lockdown mode no longer working during the beta/insider period. I’ll keep an eye on if we get more reports.

I ended up excluding File Recovery core plugin and now the app works in Lockdown Mode

Same problem for me on iOS 18.0.1 and iPadOS 18.0.1.

Edit:
Excluding File Recovery core plugin helped, but is not a good solution.

Same behaviour on my iPhone with iOS 17.7
Adding obsidian to the exclusion list work, but it’s not ideal.
