Notes list order does not refresh

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set sorting order to “Sort by edit time (new to old)”
  2. Create note #1
  3. Create note #2
  4. Edit note #1

Expected result

Note #1 should jump to the top of the notes list as the most recently edited

Actual result

Note #1 remains in the same position

Environment

  • Operating system:
    MacOS Catalina 10.15.4
  • Obsidian version:
    0.8.4

Additional information

A similar issue, maybe related, or maybe can be fixed along the way: search results do not get updated when a note’s subject changes:

  1. Search for anything
  2. Click on a result
  3. Change the note’s title
    -> Subject in the results remain the same

Edit for clarification. I will keep the notes list refresh as a bug report. Regarding the refresh of the search, open a new feature request.

Until this is fixed, Tony’s Recent Files plugin can be helpful.
