Basically, for a while, there’s been two sets of the same note every time I open Obsidian: one in my set of folders and one just in the general list. I’ve tried culling the one in the general list, but that works until I close and reopen Obsidian and every single one of my notes reappears! I’m at a loss for why that’s happening.
Things I have tried
I did search this up on the forums, but no luck there.
I thought maybe the Homepage extension was to blame, but that hasn’t fixed anything either.
If it helps, I’ve attached a list of extensions that I have installed.
I would try enabling Restricted mode (no community plugins) and working for a few hours with a few restarts of Obsidian. If all is fine, no duplicates, then it’s probably one of these plugins, and you’ll need to find the culprit.
If the duplication is still happening in Restricted mode, I’d look into the possibility of a sync service interfering and creating the dupe notes.
Thank you; I tried all that and I think it’s Google Drive, my syncing service, causing those problems. I’ve switched to OneDrive now. Once again, thank you for your help!
