Following this post I would like to again raise the issue that appending things via the core note composer plug in to a file messes up the files frontmatter which makes the functionality almost unusuable.

Hey, are there any updates on this? It is still happening to me in the current insider version. Just checking if this is supposed to be fixed.
This seems to be fixed with the new properties function now available to insiders.
