Hello dear people. I’m completely new (like 16 hours new) to Obs but am for sure overwhelmed with this great tool!
I use the above mentioned PlugIn (and the Folder Note Core, upon which it depends) and have the problem that when I create a folder note for an existing folder that all it’s regular sub-notes are vanished (hopefully onyl from view). The click on the folder in that case does no longer open the folder/note-tree, I only see the folder itself, now with the underline marking itself as containing a note.
What am I missing??
If only the folder note disappears, that’s a feature of the plugin — you click the folder to see the note. You can turn that feature off in settings.
If other notes in the folder are disappearing, I don’t know why that would be. You can check to make sure they still exist on disk by right-clicking the folder and choosing “Reveal in Finder” (on Windows it probably says “Windows Explorer” instead of “Finder”). If you’re on mobile you can’t do that, so you’ll have to open the system file browser and navigate to the folder manually.
