Steps to reproduce

  1. Type $a - b$ in a new note
  2. Replace one of the space with a non-breaking space " "

Expected result

I expect the latex engine to handle the non-breaking space correctly, or minimum, as least treat it as a normal space.

Actual result

The latex engine refuse to work and marks the math in red.

Environment

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • Obsidian version: v0.12.15

I think the forum converted the non-breaking space in my post back to a normal space.
I had to get one from no-break space (u+00A0) (unicode-symbol.com)

My latex auto formatter likes to insert these around the pages so it’s really annoying for me to have to convert these back to normal spaces after pasting, using obsidian’s search and replace.
