Newly updated icon reverts to its original version after the app is closed

Steps to Reproduce

I downloaded an official PNG alternative Obsidian icon from The new Obsidian icon - Obsidian.

Next, I replaced the default icon using the option available in “Appearance”.

The app asked me to relaunch, and the icon switched without any issues.

However, the app icon reverts back to its original state after closing the app.

The icon should remain as the selected alternative even after closing the app.

Steps to reproduce From Obsidian settings change the app icon and relaunch. Type “obs” in Spotlight: both the icon to the right of the search entry and the one in the list of matches are still the default icon. Yes, it is perhaps the same issue I am experiencing. I’ll give it a read.

Additionally, given that the app icon reverts back to the original, I changed it over “Get info”, but for some reason the resultant icon is bigger than expected.
