Newly created notes from links not respecting default folder setting

Create a new note by following a wiki link for a non-existing note.

Note should be created in the folder specified by default location for new notes in settings.

Note is created in vault root.

Very weird, I toggled safe mode off and on and now it’s working fine. My bad.
