Newbie lost on spell check

What I’m trying to do

I am lost on using the Spell Check feature. I have toggled the Spell Check to on in settings. It is on. Nothing happens. How do you start the spell check feature?

What’s your OS, Obsidian version, etc? If you type cmd/ctrl + p, then type Show debug info, and paste the results here, that will give folks some info about your system. It looks like this:

On macOS, spellcheck is on by default for new vaults and uses the system spellchecker.
