Use case or problem

When opening a new Tab in Obsidian, I’d love to quickly be able to jump to a often used note without having to search for it in the file sidebar.

Proposed solution

Just like browsers have a shortcuts row to pages you have pinned there, I would love to be able to add shortcuts to notes that I visit often on the new tab page.

Current workaround (optional)

I’ll just have to go through my file structure in the sidebar to find the note I’m looking for. That is kind of tedious when I already have a pretty big tree of files.

This can easily be solved in a number of ways.

maybe start with using a dashboard (like Hearth or build your own) and create buttons that go to whatever notes you want. If you use Hearth, there is a command bar with built in buttons underneath just like your picture of Firefox. Those buttons are configurable.

you could also just use the command palette to do the same thing with no set up.
