New plugin : simple-sketch, a minimalist draw editor

Hi everyone

I’m very proud to share my new plugin release: simple-sketch

this is a very simple drawing tool that comes in e dedicated view.

you can:

  • draw by free-hand
  • draw shapes like squares, ellipsis, lines, empty or filled
  • add text
  • change line width or color
  • save the sketch in your vault or anywhere in your computer
  • display or not a grid
  • undo/redo

many improvements are coming:

  • snap shapes on the grid while you draw them
  • add more shapes or shape drawing functionalities
  • open an existent sketch in the editor
  • …

I decided to develop this plugin in order to add a very minimalist tool, witch you can use without wasting your time in configuration or tool/method research, one action needs only one click.

Looks like a really good plugin. Many of us have wanted a simpler drawing plugin. Thanks and hope new capability keeps coming

Hi everyone, new release for simple-sketch, some enhancements and new features:

Display

  • open simple-sketch in a new tab in main view
  • set sketch size to full app viewport

Controls

  • undo with ctrl + z
  • redo with ctrl + shift + z
  • toggle grid with ctrl + shift + g

New features

  • open an existing image in simple-sketch with file-menu
  • open a modal to save in a specific folder with a specific file name
