Hi everyone 
I’m a senior developer and team leader, and over the years I’ve developed a strong preference for extremely fast, low-friction note-taking tools—something lightweight that lets me jot things down instantly without breaking focus.
For a long time, I used a small app that lived in my menu bar, which was perfect for this kind of quick capture. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an equivalent that worked seamlessly across both macOS and Windows. Since I already use Obsidian daily, I decided to build my own solution.
That’s how Pebble came to life.
Pebble is designed to be a minimal, fast note-taking companion inside Obsidian—focused on speed, simplicity, and staying out of your way while you capture thoughts.
