New Plugin: Obsidian Beautitab!

Beautitab creates a customizable new tab view with beautiful backgrounds, quotes, search, and more. It allows you to use the search/switcher plugins that you’re already used to (core, Omnisearch, switcher++, another quick switcher) so you can add it in without disrupting your existing flow! Beautitab version 1.3.0

  • Settings screen redesign to allow for more organization and more features in the future
  • Added support for 12-hour or 24-hour clock
  • Added ability to use {{greeting}} placeholder in greeting text to add text based on the time of the day (e.g. good morning)
  • Added ability to show 5 bookmarks, either from all bookmarks or from a specific group

I am trying it… it basically shows nothing? NO idea what could be causing this.

I tried this on two different vaults and get the time in the middle, the greeting and the quotes, but don’t get any background image at all in either vault?

Me too. Any solution for that?

I made a pr with a fix for that, inspired by the tabliss extension (chrome/Firefox…). It needs to use the API with a key, but a simple testing one should works, as the image only change when time change (for example at 12:00 or 14:00)
