'New note' icon in ribbon bar

I would like to have an option to move the ‘new note’ icon from the left sidebar into the ribbon bar. The current layout confuses me as other icons to create new items like canvas, excalidraw, templates are already on the ribbon bar while the ‘new note’ icon spends a lonely life in the sidebar.

You can use Commander plugin to add a shortcut for creating new notes in the ribbon (or any shortcut you want in general)

And if you want you can remove the original icon from the sidebar via CSS, someone else may be able to help you with that
