Currently the new note button creates a new file in the vault root, could we have a toggle switch setting to choose between this and the user’s chosen directory for new notes?
Wasn’t this just introduced into 0.6? See Settings-File tab. Is it not working?
My hotkey/shortcut for new note (Cmd+N) works and places the new file in the inbox but hitting the new note button in the file explorer adds it to the Vault Root.
Yes, looks like the settings are not honored if you create a new Note from the file browser upper tab icon. So it’s a bug.
