Hi everyone! I’m setting up my basic Obsidian workspace aesthetics and color logic for future usage. All CSS configurations are now available in my GitHub repository: obsidien-clancy-color-preset. Feel free to check it out if you’re interested!
Beyond just colors, this preset focuses on a clean, structured visual experience with several key typography refinements:
-
Optimized Chinese Typography: Specifically configured for Taipei Sans TC (Taipei Black), ensuring that traditional Chinese characters remain sharp, balanced, and highly readable even in dark mode.
-
Precision Font Weight Control: I’ve fine-tuned the font-weight scales across headers and body text. By avoiding excessively heavy weights, the interface maintains a “breathable” feel while clearly distinguishing information hierarchy.
-
Grid-System Layout: Integrated a subtle 25px x 25px dot grid background, providing a physical-paper feel that aids in alignment for systems thinking and complex note-taking.
-
Grammar-Specific Styling: Custom styles for language learners, including specialized markings for verb conjugations and noun genders, which are essential for mastering Spanish and English.
